(distribution)

A documentary by Jean Beaudry

poster: Isabelle Toussaint
With fifty years in the business and over five hundred theatre, film, dance, circus and other productions to his credit, François Barbeau is the undisputed master of costume design in Quebec. His practical experience rests on an in-depth knowledge of the history of dress throughout the centuries. He has touched on every style, from every period, and his work reflects a keen sense of colour and texture. This film will reveal Barbeau’s unique vision, and his invaluable contribution to the performing arts.
